We specialize in exercise therapy for senior citizens, ages 65+. We are certified through the Functional Aging Institute (FAI) to provide them with the freedom to still use their body and have a better quality of life.
We bring fitness fun to seniors through the Sit & Be Fit classes that we host, which have been featured in The Columbian. These classes offer fun and empowerment.
Some of the things that we do is challenge their reaction and coordination skills.
Music is always included, especially music from their era because that brings smiles and improves their mood.
Their health and safety is always our number one priority.
Senior fitness therapy can improve strength, flexibility, and balance. The workout sessions don’t have to be long – 30 mins per day is a great goal to have. Of course, that can be broken down into two different sessions, if needed. Stretching, walking, and dancing can all be lower-impact workouts that still deliver results.
