Welcome to my kitchen!
Today I am sharing with you how I make my Fat Burning Energy Smoothie. I love to have this smoothie in the morning as a meal replacement or in the afternoon as a snack when I’m on the go.
This particular smoothie is great if your looking to boost your metabolism or burn body-fat; not to mention it keeps you full for hours so you can get on with your busy life and focus on whats important.
I know that health is important to you so I wanted to share this with you to inspire you to try something new today and boost your health to a new level!
A few things about the ingredients below… there might be a few that you don’t recognize:
Chlorella powder is a source of Chlorophyll, Protein, Iron, Magnesium, and amino acids. It is primarily known as a detoxifying supplement used in cleanses. Its tiny size and unique properties make it able to bind to heavy metals and unwanted chemicals in the body. Although it is used for cleanses you can have small amounts of this daily for the added health benefits.
Maca powder (use gelatinized maca for best absorption) has a positive effect on hormone balance, energy levels, and is a major health booster. Maca is a pleasant tasting root usually available in powder form. It is very rich in nutrients, has a higher calcium level than milk and is very nutrient dense.
Raw Cacao powder contains more than 300 different chemical compounds and nearly four times the antioxidant power of your average dark chocolate – more than 20 times than that of blueberries. Cacao can improve heart health, cholesterol, stress levels, and inflammation, to list just a few physical advantages. Fringe benefits cacao releases into the brain include anandamide, endorphins, phenylethylamine, and serotonin, all sparking descriptives like “blissful” and “euphoric.”
